I spend most of my working days now - collaborating with an AI. That is kind of wild.
My son asks what are you doing daddy?
Oh I am having a heated debate with the computer 😅
@MichaelJohngre6@thirtythree@elonmusk Ha! name a war US won on their own.
Do a google.
The British Army has had a hand in conquering, garrisoning, or fighting in an estimated 171 of the 193 current UN member states.
Demis Hassabis: "The smartest people aren't always the best scientists. Curiosity and resilience matter more than raw IQ.
I've seen brilliant minds give up the moment a problem gets hard. "
People who talk about AI like it's either going to save us all or destroy everything tend to lose me. I'm rarely that certain about where it's headed, and I've been building in this space for years.
The older I get and longer I stay in business the more I see how binary people’s thinking is.
Wrong / right.
Yes / No
It drives me mad!
Binary reasoning is good for computers. As humans we must do better.
Think with different lenses,
Perspectives and timelines.
@JeffCampsInMN@khsolo@Mylovanov And Zelensky was given zero assurance of American protection. He said he’s happy to sign a deal but what if Russia breaks the deal? Uses it as an opportunity to attack. Which they would as they have done it before.
@1145paul@elonmusk@Laurel700 This is money invested in your own military. It’s not waste. It’s global security. And that money will be spent paying American soldiers who pay tax. The whole story is dumb. Dollars are debt. Government can only make money by spending money. It’s not like a bank account.
(1/3) It needs repeating: in 1994, Ukraine was persuaded to give up its nuclear weapons to Russia in return for the US, the UK, and Russia guaranteeing Ukraine’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
@bennyjohnson Zelensky’s point was how do you make a deal with Putin who broke deals in the past. Putin ignored and killed people anyway. The extract playbook of Hitler. Then Vance just attacks his character. Vance was caught out here. How do you do a deal with someone who breaks deals?
@elonmusk@realDonaldTrump Should have kept Vance on a tighter leash - Zelensky’s point - how do we do a deal with Putin when he’s broken deals in the past.
@shaunmmaguire Zelensky’s point was - how do you make a deal when previous deals have been ignored! Exactly what Hitler did. Make deals and ignore them.
When Vance is caught out - he relies on bully tactics. What a vacuous man.
@elonmusk What a joke of a conversation. School yard.
I’ll invade a country then! I think trump is just scared of putin. Putin is the bigger bully. This feels like a policy of appeasement practiced by the US that let Hitler come to power.
