Is it just me or does it seem all these AI startup companies are all just self referential and insular. It's all AI to help with another AI doing more AI things. It honestly feels like the crypto NFT bubble with blockchains claiming their value because of NFTs.

@ericweinstein Do the people running burning man have access to mass surveillance AI technology that is integrated into several government intelligence agencies?
If you don't have a PhD in materials science or some kind of Stem field, how is AI going to help someone regular to start a business? Have any of you funded a VC founder who is not a technical expert that used AI vibe coding?
I watch all-in podcast with @Jason@friedberg@DavidSac@chamath talking about how regular people with AI startups will replace job losses for regular people, but using AI I can only find 1 business startup that was created with AI by a non technical person getting VC backing.
@shellenberger Haidt came to Canada and advocated for mass online censorship and surveillance (pro social media ban for under 16). He is for safe spaces and coddling if it's for social media.
A shocking story. It’s totally inappropriate for CBC, using taxpayer dollars, to engage in deceitful, anti-Canada behaviour that maliciously targets its own citizens.
Enough of the constant tax dollar waste.
Enough of the endless far-left ideology.
Enough of the vilification of our past.
Time to celebrate Canada & the leaders like John A. MacDonald who built it.
I found out recently that I was deceived by social activists in an elaborate scheme dating back to January. A production group with what I now know has a fake name and fake identities gave me a friendly interview about my book A Day with Sir John A, and about Sir John A Macdonald, back in Feb.
They connected me with a fake company called Heritage Figures Canada with a fake website and "hired" me to perform consulting work for them. We had what I now know were fake meetings, fake documents, fake commercial shoot, fake prototype of a Sir John A collectible. Then in a second filmed interview last week, they turned on me, and it was revealed to have all been a setup in order to demonize Sir John A and smear me.
It turns out this is a taxpayer-funded CBC and APTN project. There is so much more, I will make a video. They also deceived @FrancesWiddows1
@ryangerritsen I thought @JonHaidt was a reasonable moderate, but he is advocating mass internet surveillance which is necessary to implement this under 16 social media ban. Totally insane.
@mario4thenorth@wyatt_claypool@KarlDHarrison Also a type of "culture war" is how Carney was elected. He campaigned on hardcore anti Americanism as a type of culture war politics, which is catnip for boomers.
@mario4thenorth We all know what operation CBC, CTV, Globe, etc paid government media are running. Telling the CPC to drop Pierre and get a "centrist" which will cause at least 6% of CPC voters to defect to the PPC making the CPC to never be competitive again.
A lot of non-Canadians don’t know that Canada has a race-based legal system that guarantees Indigenous offenders lower sentences. Even for extremely violent crimes, like rape, murder, or choking babies.
The other side of that fact is that this has created a bustling economy for liberal academics and activists, who get paid millions of government dollars every year to scratch their retarded heads over why Indigenous communities have such high crime rates.
So if you want a clear picture of what this looks like in practice, take this example:
Indigenous men beat their wives and girlfriends, who are usually also Indigenous, at very high rates. They will rarely get put in prison, with courts typically opting to just send them to fluffy, culturally sensitive drum beating tipi healing circles. In other words, they are effectively free to just continue beating their wives or girlfriends.
An academic or activist sees this, and then gets money from the government to study why domestic violence rates are so high in Indigenous communities.
After a few hundred thousand dollars in “research funds”, the conclusion is never “it’s because these violent men aren’t getting taken off the street and appropriately punished after committing domestic violence.” Never.
It is always, somehow, that the justice system is racist.
It truly is an incredible racket.
This is pure comedy.
Mark Carney, who made all of his money outside of Canada with most of his money invested in America and hasn't lived here for years, is using a figurine given to him by Mike Myers who made all of his money in the US and lives in the US, to warn Canadians against the threat of America.
@FoodProfessor@TomTSEC Will this have any actual meaningful impact on health? If people switch to low saturated fats and sodium products that are still low protein and low satiety that they will over eat and remain fat, how does that help?
@Cernovich Another boomer wall of text. He really lost touch when he decided to stay off Twitter. Politically, Truth social has been a disaster for him.
@terrynewman How is the CPC not doing anything? After the first floor crossing, Pierre should have forced every MP or future MP to sign a contract forbidding floor crossings and if they break the contract they will incur a fee like $20 million. CPC tweeting angrily isn't a solution.
