The Nuggets drafted a player who averaged 3.3 points in college, developed him into a double-digit scorer and 40% 3P shooter within his rookie contract, and bailed on his restricted free agency for future scraps, while they have a 3-time MVP on the roster and in his prime.
@Mile_High_Z I don’t know that I believe it, but AG. It’s the hardest one. But he has the highest value. I also think he may be washed by his injuries. He might never be right again.
It would be an enormous risk to give up whatever high price teams are willing to pay now.
This might sound blasphemous. But right now, there's really nothing in the NBA that comes closer to a classic Stephen Curry hot streak than a Jamal Murray Flurry.
@lancelands You've been an example to me 30 years
When you think of the individual, the decision to engage gets easy:
1) Do you love the person you're interacting with? And will this help them?
2) If not, are are helping another individual you care about?
Win converts 1 at a time
I personally do not agree with Denver’s strategy tonight. We talked about it on the show. I think OKC probably closes tonight’s game with players 12 thru 17 on their roster tonight, but they can absolutely win.
Avoiding the 3 seed is NOT the way to me.
@HPbasketball They have to play okc anyway. I’d honestly rather play LA or Houston than Min. In round 1.
It would be better to face okc fresh than beat up from two brutal series.
