Giving up 7 runs on 1 hit feels improbable, but evidently not impossible, for the Canes tonight. 11 total unearned. Way to waste a pretty solid offensive performance
The entitlement. The dumbassery. This tweet has it all.
Like that random parent volunteer gives a shit who you are anyway. Idk, email the AD ahead of time or something.
It’s HS ⚾️ playoff time! If you’re working the ticket table and see someone walk up with a backpack, pen, stopwatch, & college logo, tell them to enjoy the game and keep working hard. Nobody asked you to pay to work the table, don’t ask us to pay to do our job. Carry on🫡@MSHSL
Wasn't expecting anything to challenge the undefeated 'at least have the guts to call' subtweet by some random coach at a school no one has heard of but we lit, baby
JUST IN: DraftKings is SHUTTING DOWN its sportsbook operation at Wrigley Field after just two years.
The company says increased Illinois wagering taxes are to blame for the closure. In a statement published by the @ChicagoTribune, DraftKings said:
“DraftKings has made the decision to discontinue onsite sportsbook operations at DraftKings Sportsbook at Wrigley Field following a review of our retail presence in Illinois. The venue itself will remain open, but in-person sports betting will no longer be offered at the location.
While we are proud of what we have built alongside the Chicago Cubs, we are taking a more focused approach to where we invest in the state. The cost of operating in Illinois, including its high tax structure, makes it more difficult to justify continued investment in a standalone retail sportsbook.”
The last day to place a wager at the sportsbook will be May 31.
