Remembering my former @TheRadCaroline shipmate Dave Foster who would have had a birthday today. I still miss your friendship and your infectious enthusiasm for radio, music and life. RIP.
@Buseireann Thanks @Buseireann and @TFIupdates this is exceptionally good news for Oldcastle. And because this route connects to 109X at both ends, it means that the number of possible connecting journeys to Dublin or Airport has more than doubled.
@theodric BUT in the days of non power windows, the glass would sometimes escape the rollers and refuse to go up or down, or worse, try to go sideways. Speaking as the owner of many tired old bangers when I was young.
@PaulAnthonyRock@PlanetRockRadio Good morning Paul, really enjoying the show this morning, stuck in M25 diversion traffic in Essex with Catherine on our way to Cambridge
@humantransit I like Berlin - high frequency streetservices are prefixed with M (ie M13) and medium and lower frequency just have numbers, & both of these are irrespective of whether they are bus or tram. So it doesn’t matter on the map if it is a bus or tram, it is just a degree of service.

A great day trip easily reached by public transport- Mount Usher Gardens in Wicklow by hourly @Buseireann 133 from Dublin (or 131 from Bray). So may good day trips don’t need a car @TFIupdates #wicklow#ireland#bus
@humantransit They are essential because without them the network is less impactful. I might not need to come home at midnight, but the fact that I can if needed makes me more likely to travel earlier in the evening.
I took a spin around northeast Berlin on a couple more trams - a very pleasant way of exploring and very efficient! Some of the junctions are to say the least daunting to cross as a pedestrian!
