This is so refreshing from @jreynoldsMP our new Secretary of State for Business & Trade. A Business secretary actually answering questions honestly, thoughtfully & without rhetoric. A closer relationship with the EU is needed & at last we are now having that conversation
Watch this it’s fascinating - I asked James Timpson what he’d do about prisons and sentencing if he was in charge. He believes only a third of prisoners in jail should definitely be there. He’s now in charge of prisons (but not sentencing).
@RishiSunak And it is a difference that will take you out of power.
Brexit has been a disaster for the UK - from trade to our citizens’ abilities to travel and work elsewhere, for our future generations and our political influence.
Tell me - what’s the “will of the people” now, Rishi?
The Brexit you championed is calculated by Bloomberg to be costing the UK £100bn a year in lost output - that’s roughly £40bn less for the Government to invest in our hospitals, schools & public services we all rely on. By almost every economic and financial measure Brexit has been disastrous for the UK and you know it
Ah man. What a life. And what a love him & Lindsey shared. Legend & legacy are overused words but in Rob Burrow’s case, they’re barely adequate. Condolences also to Kevin Sinfield who distilled the essence of friendship.
I know political campaigning is tough - but:
DON’T let the microphones be set up so you are filmed with a crane coming out of your head
DON’T be filmed underneath an exit sign
And as for going to visit where the Titanic was built…….

We inspired 113,000 young people to vote in one day on April 16th.
Imagine what we have planned for the general.

@WorthingFC So sorry I cannot be there in person.. I'll be in the pub with my wife and daughter and expecting to be in good company. Whatever the result this is where this club should be.
'Up he pops...like an unflushable deposit.'
'Epic incompetence, epic entitlement...or epic narcissism?'
@mrjamesob points out the irony of Boris Johnson forgetting his photo ID, when he introduced the voter ID legislation as PM.
@SussexWhites@WorthingFC 3 devices on the job in my house, probably not unusual. It won't have been 30,000 buyers. Even with a degree in hindsight it seems obvious a suitable size venue would benefit everyone. Pretty sure Braintree beat us at home so even home advantage wouldn't be missed.
With the nature of a sell out crowd, please be wary of ticket touts and scammers.
We highly advise that you do not purchase tickets from a third party.
@GTFC_Exiles@WorthingFC Hi, I'm from South London, live in Worthing but I'm a Grimsby fan, sort of .. it's an interesting but not a long story. Are you local to Worthing?
@WorthingFC Appreciate it's uncharted territory for you and allowing for my personal frustration, this has not gone well for you. I feel cheated having been to the semi and half a dozen games since Christmas but cannot go on Monday due to technical problems and fair weather fans
