The very best of luck to AP Peter Delea who leaves our Cork based HEMS to a new role as education officer with the new Cork NAS College.
Bringing with him a wealth of paramedicine knowledge and experience.🙌🏻
Congratulations to @paulknoesen & PeterMcDaid who represented NAS Midleton Station in the UAE at an International Paramedic Competition hosted by @AbuDhabi Civil Defence 🥳
They faced complex clinical scenarios against 11 frontline services & achieved 4th position. We're so proud
It's a derby win at home in Thomond Park 🥳
An incredibly tough battle as always against Connacht.
Thank you to the 16,512 of you who came out on a bitterly cold night.

Our friend Mark Dixon is being laid to rest today. Mark was a gentleman and a scholar. He founded the Paramedic degree in Ireland and his research changed practice, impacting patient care daily. His legacy lives on but we will miss him dearly. Ni bheidh a leithéid ann arís

@CianSOBrien https://t.co/AvOWuqmnfg have some short courses.... Maybe too late but might have something. They are the only one I have come across. Solid experience in events of all sizes
@Crickie2 I can understand your concerns, but the NAS helicopter isn't an hour away from Foynes and it provides a higher clinical level of care for the patient. I don't see how R115 would have added to the patient care in this situation? Not sure "NAS incompetence" is warranted?
Was updated on our simply brilliant “Wish Ambulance” last night where our people volunteer time to enable forever memories for terminally ill patients and their families as they approach the end of life. It’s this stuff we all join for - to make a real difference when it counts. ❤️
Huge congratulations to our Paramedic Intern, Ríona, who led her team to secure the top spot at the All-Ireland Interprofessional Education Conference (AIPEC)!🎉
Her outstanding achievement reflects the incredible calibre of our student paramedics and the bright future ahead.
“Paramedicine is not just a profession — it’s a collective calling.” – Tracy Nicholls, CEO, College of Paramedics
This International Paramedics Day on the 8th July, we celebrate Unity and Community, the vital partnerships between paramedics and the people they serve.
