Some thoughts on tonights FIFA match:

1. This U.S. team was under the thumb of a corrupt FIFA president, and an even more corrupt American President. Between the two, they created WORLDWIDE animosity towards the U.S. team, who were looked upon, now, as 'cheaters'.

2. As a result of the above, this was not just a match between "Belgium" and the "U.S.A."; rather, it literally coalesced the WORLD around Belgium, because the international community now saw the U.S. team as willing participants in attempting to cheat. Whether or not it's true no longer matters. That is the PERCEPTION they have given to the world, via BOTH presidents. Period.

3. It doesn't matter if these MAGA's have ANY cause to celebrate ANY 'victory' or to sulk over any 'defeat'.....they will STILL be filled with insane, toxic hatred regardless of the outcome. They're so filled with ugliness (and always have been) that they will make for sore winners AND sore losers. They can't help themselves. The concept of "good sportsmanship" or "losing gracefully" is as lost on them as a needle is in a haystack.

Even the countries that have had their OWN teams knocked out in this tournament (mine included) are just as celebratory tonight as they would be if it was their OWN teams that beat the U.S. The MAGA's cannot grasp this for a simple reason:

They have come to enjoy/used to being scorned. Disliked. Ostracized. Hated, even. They think it's 'normal' or acceptable for others outside of their cult to feel this way about them. Why? For the simple reason that their "president" is viewed in this same way by the entire world.

And as such, HE is defined by THEM.

And THEY are defined by.....HIM.

In other words, they have self-constructed a 'fortress mentality' around themselves AND their cult.

And THIS is why the world rejoices tonight.

Because the world sees this as a huge victory against HIM....and THEM.

Because those three---the FIFA president, the U.S.President, all the MAGA's---represent the very WORST in humanity.

The very, VERY worst.

Surely they can advise but the only body that can mandate would be the stadium owners and the police themselves?

8. Trump was impeached twice.
9. Trump is a con man.
10. Trump has been adjudicated a rapist and a fraud in civil court.

. . . It ain't a witch hunt. It's not the deep state. It's Donald Trump - who caused all of this by his own actions.
He won't even denounce Putin for Alexei Navalny's death.
