@sthelensstar Staff cost money. Staff who make profits need expensive training. High street rent will be expensive. All banks in same position, so no competition.
@KemiBadenoch@Conservatives The UK cannot make enough Aviation fuel and diesel from north sea crude to satisfy uk demand. It's the wrong sort of crude, and the UK refineries do not have the capacity. It's been imported, as this is the cheaper option. We do not have any option but to import these fuels.
@sthelensstar He's clearly an opportunist doing what's best for him. He'll run away from the next job if a better offer comes along, with no regard for the consequences for everyone else.
@sthelensstar Councils close libraries. Children lose access to books locally. Children lose the habit of going to the library and reading. St Helens offer a poor library service. Expectations are low.
@sthelensstar How does this help St Helens? Offering help through the transition, and support with the existing projects, would show how he cares for the residents. Showing how he cares, could bear fruit, rather than a divisive approach.
@sthelensstar It's always someone elses fault. No consideration that the councils actions could be the cause. No reflection on their behavior. It was a local election. A deaf council, with no leadership. Perhaps the people want someone who'll listen, and provide clear direction.
@AllianceBirth Is part of the story missing? Perhaps the mother has struggled in the past to cope, with no family help, and no support from those around her. Perhaps the Tusla is providing support and help to change the future outcome , buta percentage cannot be helped, and have to plan.
@kelvmackenzie Do universities have any interest in the outcome of their customers? They're a business. Why should uk graduate demand interest them if their demand and profits are high?
