@KurtJohansson_ Every great team over the years Liverpool, Arsenal even Man Utd built from the back. It’s like a house you need solid foundations. Bruce knew that too when at the Tigers. Ironically Chelsea are learning that too: I’d have been dropped from the school team defending like that…

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@Carlwilks2011 @bbcburnsy @HullCity @The1904Club @bazdjcooper @KathrynBatte @jamesfletch__ Sergei did say it was picked up at his medical; the player didn’t even know he had a problem as he was still playing. The club are playing safe for his longer term fitness

@jon_mrh 👍

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

Help me out: how can we field 2 unregistered players in tonight’s squad? #hcafc

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@OllieHarsley Ta!

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

On the XG guys; the difference between a dickhead and a statistician is a dickhead looks at the numbers and says ‘that shouldn’t be happening’ a statistician asks ‘why is that happening?’
One looks beyond the numbers the other one doesn’t.

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@KathrynBatte It takes hard boring work on the training ground to defend as a team like they are doing. Absolute credit to them.
My son a Man Utd fan said today ‘we could do borrow some of your defence’ 😂

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@avfc_positivity Football is about tactics and our manager is rather good at them: think we’ll be around for a while, get used to it

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@TigerDor @1_DanKemp True; but Millar is a loan and Sergei hasn’t closed the door. Abdush has no real buyers and I think a year left on his contract: so it’s last chance saloon for him.

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@Paul44491879071 @1_DanKemp They are struggling to find a buyer; but if I’m correct his contract expires in 2027

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@1_DanKemp They have said that they want to loan Zambrano to give him minutes as he needs further time to develop: he’s one for the future were Abdush isn’t

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@oscar021111 No you don’t just give it up: everyone knows it’s just a scam

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

According to The Times today we spent more on transfers this window than Barcelona: never thought I’d read that about us. Pretty cool #hcafc

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@KurtJohansson_ @HDMHullCity They’ll need to be quick as that closes in 2 days

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@KurtJohansson_ @HDMHullCity They’ll all need to go abroad won’t they were the deadline is later?

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

This amazing transfer window feels like Acun’s version of ‘supermarket sweep’.
Wonder what he picks up in the last aisle..😂

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

@Carlwilks2011 @alex_crook @talkSPORT Sergei choses players based on character (e.g. how they react when brought off). Can’t see him liking this behaviour.

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

Does any pundit ever join the dots?🙄
Man Utd weren’t great because we stopped them playing: we won most 50-50’s and defensively we were a brick wall.
And on transition; jesus we’ve got pace #hcafc

[steve johnson @stevekjo]

What the hell was that on match of the day: so biased to how bad man utd were than how good we were: get real the less glamour teams are here #hcafc #matchoftheday
