@Rawdogg15 20, even 10, years ago I’d have been so excited to watch a game between them. But the Saffer fans are so toxic they have made me detest their team and I won’t even watch them now. Just no enjoyment in it anymore.
@tomhfh Churchill treated the Irish much like the Nazis treated the Jews in Germany before the war. Saw them as 2ndclass, lesser than, no prob in seeing them shot in the street. Jews in Europe pre war had a lot in common with the Irish pre independence. And with the Palestinians now.
@arjunswritings Canada should join a North Atlantic entity with the EU and have absolute free trade with our 450 million people. The US is a bust as a country with any credibility anymore. The rest of us need to plan for a post US led world economy.
@tartancrane@Raely22@WorldRugby Not if you are off your feet. You cannot do anything except place the ball after you’ve been tackled once you are off your feet. They do let players pass the ball off their feet which was a penalty when I was a kid.
@Overthehillprop 200K or less is equivalent to 300-400k to them in France plus don’t have to move plus Irish eligible. I think you are overestimating what rugby players in Ireland are getting.
@Overthehillprop A lot of players in Ireland are on lower than market value, both central and provincial contracts. This is because there is favourable tax benefits to them if they stay in Ireland. Has that been considered? 1/2
@Ryan_Parkerrr Never been worse I’m afraid. It’s incredibly sad. The city on the hill is in ruins for those of us who can see it from the outside. And I take no joy in saying that. Americans have been terribly mislead. There is an absolute dearth of true leadership. On both sides of the aisle.
@nnelsonni & don’t care about the role of NI in the Union. Some will. Most won’t. Its only moving in one direction. most important is that should a unified Irl happen how do we integrate & celebrate all people. Republicans, Unionists and the New Irish in a New IRL. Traditions new & old. 2/2
@nnelsonni Most people in Eng & Wal just see anyone from the island of Ireland as Irish. Scots understand it a bit more and historically have more connection. But there is an increasing number of people in GB who would support it not care about a unified Ireland. 1/2
@cfbireland Unfortunately someone has seriously misread the market. Ticket prices are simply ridiculous. Suggest @NCAA and @NFL arrange free tickets for as many kids as you can to fill the place up and create fans and future customers. Just remember pricing is not the same in all countries.
