The 28 print photographs in this collection were taken between 1944 and 1945, when Wilson was purchasing provisions for the British Army. The photographs show agriculture, landscapes, and some of Jordan’s famous #heritage sites, like #Petra’s monastery and #Amman’s Roman Theater.
As you may know, a pillar of ACOR and the archaeological and heritage communities of Jordan, Prof. Bert de Vries, passed away last week. The depth and impact of this loss is difficult to put into words.
