Walking over 120 miles from Newcastle to Leeds to honor a legend and raise awareness for men's mental health. Every donation helps. Please share and support this cause that matters! https://t.co/DmRbyrsk11
Remembering Gary Speed on what would have been his 55th birthday. Our thoughts are always with Gary’s family.
Gary’s mum, Carol, came to see us off on the first of our charity walks, in 2022.
Over 100 of us walked (and eventually hobbled and limped) the 92 miles from Gary’s first playing field back to Elland Road, for an unforgettable, emotional homecoming.
It was so enjoyable that we did it again in a year later, this time from Goodison Park back to Elland Road. It hurt just as much, but every step was worth it. And we’ll do it again in future.
To date, you’ve helped us raise over £150,000 for mental health charities, including @andysmanclubuk.
If you’re ever having a wobble or need to get something off your chest, please reach out for help.
Rest in Peace, Gary. Marching on Together x
@Michael_TSB We got absolutely nothing right tonight. The early games can’t be brushed under the carpet, cup or not. 6 goals in the fire 2 games is bloody awful. Still, free fizzy drinks innit 🤷🏻♂️
If you think this is an acceptable way to treat people in 2023 then can I suggest you take long walk of a very short cliff. This is a disgrace #asylumdisgrace#toriesout#shameonthehomeoffice https://t.co/XseRMMJIJ0
