@DE_Gifford Par for the course with him. He got apoplectic when DDOT was considering expanding the Seven Mile route to go to the Walmart on Middlebelt, even though it wouldn't have cost Livonia residents a dime (you know, unless they wanted to take the bus). https://t.co/U792wTimN5
Livonia City Council member Rob Donovic says he is “vehemently opposed” to DDOT extending a service route to 7 Mile and Middlebelt. The new service route extension was revealed this morning as part of the DDOT Reimagined project.
@JJ_McCullough As a USA-er I think your videos helped me take Canada off my mental pedestal and made the place more tangible as a result. I would still immigrate there if the opportunity arose.

Mister Rogers had it down cold: after you get home, first order of business is to change into something comfy and then it’s RIGHT into total dissociation via the neighborhood of make believe
I don't think I still have self esteem issues anymore until I start looking for a new job — then it's prepubescent self doubt and needing external validation until someone finally sends me an email replying Y to one of my "Do you like me, Y/N?" notes.
Man, I would consider a much wider variety of jobs and career fields if they offered child care. Does anyone out there that knows of *any* metro Detroit job that offers child care? I looked into a trade apprenticeship, but it's completely impractical if you have a kid at home
