Anyone who has ever been bullied for anything...whether it is about your looks, weight, gender, sexuality, etc. and is just 'used to people saying stuff about you' need to know that none of us should EVER have to feel used to it.

YESTERDAY: The Trump administration bragged that the PJM power grid was relying on fossil fuels instead of renewables. "Keeping our air conditioners blasting."
TODAY: The Trump administration alerts PJM to cut electricity use as outages, overloaded transmission lines, and extreme heat push the system toward blackouts. PJM escalates emergency actions as a result.
@NikkiHaley Um, WTF?
It’s literally common sense good advice that many governments and experts say is what’s best for both the power grid and for your own electricity bill.
I’m trying to figure out how this is socialism?
@adgirlMM Same. I eas also forced. I remember the preacher telling parents and a sermon that they needed to “exercise their religious control” over their children. And this was in the early and mid 1990s.
@BasedMikeLee So the people in Los Angeles County are less of Americans than the rest of the country? That’s what I read when you say this bullshit. And I live in Louisiana, by the way.
The combined storm from Tuesday morning + this storm in the time lapse that evening caused my lightning detector to hit the max count it is capable of...1,999, so I'll never know how much lightning I received!
I didn't even know it had a limit!

Time lapse of the severe thunderstorm that moved through Oil City, LA on Tuesday June 23, 2026. (The blob at the end is water that got on the lens).

Shelf cloud from severe thunderstorm here in Oil City, La on Tuesday evening June 23, 2026. We rarely get prominent shelf clouds like this in NW Louisiana! @NWSShreveport#lawx
@jswinner09@Ajax_atrax@GoodmanHoops It has nothing to do with what we WANT to see. This rule also has no leeway to account for players losing year(s) of eligibility due to injuries either. It’s a terrible rule.
@sam_hulvey@Dubsn4@GoodmanHoops If we were still on the amateur model, I would agree. But since it is now a paid profession, it shouldn’t be limited to just those out of high school.
@Ajax_atrax@GoodmanHoops Says who? If you can compete in college, you should be allowed to compete in college regardless of age as long as you meet eligibility requirements like anyone else. You shouldn’t be ineligible just because you reached the age of 24 or whatever.
