#AllanCup: On April 16, 2011 the Clarenville Caribous won NL's second Allan Cup. It had been 25 years since the Corner Brook Royals brought home our first national senior hockey championship. Clarenville were outshot by Bentley Generals 42-23 in the final game but won the game 5-3. The Caribous had the best power play in the tournament and went undefeated with a record of 4-0. @NLsrHockey

I hope minor hockey leagues are looking at contingency plans for extending the season. It’s worth altering set dates and pushing playoff weekends so the kids can play. We can’t afford to have them lose another season. It’s destroying their love of the game. Let’s make it work.
