🚨 BREAKING:
U.S. world-famous author Stephen King:
“Trump is a tumor in America’s veins. A tyrant who does not hesitate to set a country on fire for his narcissistic ego. No horror story I’ve written could be as terrifying as this man.”
To everyone so eager to cancel someone for a tattoo they got at age 22, a drunk text, a selfie they took in the middle of a mental health crisis:
Show us your laptop.
Show us your iCloud.
Open your entire digital life to your worst enemy. No context. No filter. No explanation.
You won’t.
You won’t because you know what I know. Any one of us, frozen at our worst moment, photographed in our lowest hour, looks like a monster. Looks like a stranger. Looks like someone who deserves to be cast out.
That is not who we are.
My mom and baby sister were killed in a car accident when I was just a kid. Cancer took my brother Beau, my best friend and my rock. I battled alcoholism. I battled addiction. I chose the coward’s way out more times than I can count.
For years I believed the defining chapters of my life were written by tragedy, loss, and shame.
I no longer believe that.
Pain can shape us. Loss can humble us. Failures can leave scars that never fully fade. But none of them have the authority to define us.
And it sure as hell ain’t the critic that counts.
That authority belongs to us alone-the person in the arena.
Every setback presents a choice. Play the victim, or cut the bullshit and take ownership for who we become next.
Life does not determine our character. It reveals it.
Again and again we are asked the same question. When shit happens, what next?
We are not defined by what happened to us. We are not defined by the worst photo, the worst text, the worst tattoo, the worst night. We are defined by the person we choose to become. And by the courage to choose that person, every single day.
So before you reach for the gavel - show us your laptop.
You won’t.
The whole world saw mine. And I am still here. Still becoming. Still choosing. Still standing.
That is the only definition that matters.
James Talarico: “The Southern Baptist Convention was pro-choice until the late 1970’s. This idea that to be a Christian means you have to be anti-gay and anti-abortion, there really is no historical theological biblical basis for that opinion”
JOE "LITTLE GUY" ROGAN IS TOO CHICKEN TO HAVE ME ON HIS FAILING PODCAST BECAUSE HE KNOW I'D CRUSH HIM, SO HE TAKES CHEAP SHOTS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY AS HE GETS RELEGATED TO IRRELEVANCY. ALL TALK, NO ACTION. I'M READY WHEN YOU ARE, "LITTLE GUY." OR KEEP HIDING!!!! — Governor GCN

Joe Rogan has brought conspiracy thinking to scale perhaps more than anyone. It's totally unprincipled. It's getting people killed. And yet he thinks he's just playing a game.
Name calling from a draft dodger doesn't bother me. What bothers me is a clueless commander in chief who took our country to war without a strategy because no one around him has the guts to tell him when he's wrong.
When the DOJ (under President Nixon) sued him in 1973, saying he violated the Fair Housing Act by refusing to lease to black tenants— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he had his black employees removed from his casino floors while he was present in the 80s— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he took out a full page ad in the NYT/NYDN/NYP/NYND newspapers in 1989, to call for the death penalty against the 4 black & 1 latino kids known as the ‘Central Park Five’ (who were exonerated)— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he was quoted in John O’Donnell’s 1991 book saying “Black guys counting my money! I hate it… I think that the [black] guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control”— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he had to pay a $200K fine in 1992 for kicking black dealers off tables at the Trump Plaza & Hotel Casino to accommodate high rollers— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he confirmed, in 1997, “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true”— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he publicly pitched (2005) that his show ‘The Apprentice’ should do a season of blacks vs whites— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he started to slander and libel President Obama’s U.S. citizenship status in 2011, repeatedly, because his middle name is “Hussein”— you said “he’s not racist”…
When David Duke (infamous leader of the KKK) endorsed him for President in 2015, and he failed to decry the infamously vile white supremacist’s support— you said “he’s not racist”…
When he has repeatedly harassed, disparaged, and publicly admonished the likes of the Obama’s & their children, Kamala Harris, the late John Lewis, and many other black political leaders— you said “he’s not racist”…

He has 5+ decades of being racist PUBLICLY and you still refuse to acknowledge that Donald Trump is and always has been a racist.
Him posting an Ai generated video depicting Michelle & Barack Obama as apes (a repugnant racial trope, that is as old as this country itself, used to disparage black Americans) on HIS SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT, is yet another example of why he is the embodiment of “when someone shows you who they are, believe them”
This isn’t debatable. He is despicable. He has zero class as a human being. And you’re just as disgusting as him if you try to gaslight us into believing his abhorrent post was anything other than what he meant it to be: a racist depiction of a former POTUS/First Lady.
There's a 5-year-old boy in a Texas detention facility who should be home in Minneapolis with his mother and middle school brother.
Why isn't he? What is the rationale for keeping a 5-year-old locked up 1,000 miles from his home?
Minnesotans are leading the way.
Mass resistance to fascism is led on the ground, in community, together.
The many always outnumber the few. ICE will not win, and neither will this corrupt regime.
The WH’s increasingly desperate and erratic behavior shows they know it, too.
I'm starting to think that, until he's finally gone, I should repost on a daily basis this this 11,000+ word piece I published in @TheAtlantic about @realDonaldTrump's serious psychiatric disorders (Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Antisocial Personality Disorder, for starters) to explain why, as a legal and constitutional matter, he was unfit for the presidency and would only become more so with the passage of time.
In the six-plus years since, every mental health professional I have come across has told me that my essay had it exactly right. I think every word of it has been proven right many times over.
And guess what? He's still only going to get worse.

Heartbreaking. A Minneapolis family driving home from their son’s basketball game in their car with six kids, including a 6-month-old, was hit by tear gas & flash-bangs from ICE agents, leaving their baby struggling to breathe and hospitalized.
This is unacceptable. ICE is making our state less safe.
Last week, the U.S. Attorney for D.C. asked to interview me because of a 90-second video that President Trump didn't like.
The intimidation *is the point*. And it’s not going to work.
Watch my full response.
AOC: I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this. You get screwed over to pay a bunch of thugs in the street that are shooting mothers in the face.
Over twenty-five years in the U.S. Navy, thirty-nine combat missions, and four missions to space, I risked my life for this country and to defend our Constitution – including the First Amendment rights of every American to speak out. I never expected that the President of the United States and the Secretary of Defense would attack me for doing exactly that.
My rank and retirement are things that I earned through my service and sacrifice for this country. I got shot at. I missed holidays and birthdays. I commanded a space shuttle mission while my wife Gabby recovered from a gunshot wound to the head– all while proudly wearing the American flag on my shoulder. Generations of servicemembers have made these same patriotic sacrifices for this country, earning the respect, appreciation, and rank they deserve.
Pete Hegseth wants to send the message to every single retired servicemember that if they say something he or Donald Trump doesn’t like, they will come after them the same way. It’s outrageous and it is wrong. There is nothing more un-American than that.
If Pete Hegseth, the most unqualified Secretary of Defense in our country’s history, thinks he can intimidate me with a censure or threats to demote me or prosecute me, he still doesn’t get it. I will fight this with everything I’ve got — not for myself, but to send a message back that Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump don’t get to decide what Americans in this country get to say about their government.
James Talarico: “The reason poverty exists is not because we can’t feed the poor, it’s because we can’t satisfy the rich. That’s exactly what we’re seeing with Elon Musk become the first trillionaire. This is a spiritual sickness. What leads a person to accumulate more money than they could possibly spend in a hundred lifetimes when we have people starving in this one?”
