A brand-new report is out about Latter-day Saints, focusing on Millennials. More on this soon!
Here are some charts showing real positive signs and significant challenges ahead—not just for Latter-day Saints but for EVERY faith.
- Latter-day Saint Millennials & Gen Z are the most likely of any U.S. religion to say they are
"very happy"
- Latter-day Saint youth (12-18) attend church, read scriptures and pray far more than their peers of other faiths.
- 42% of LDS - as adults - still actively participate in church. That might seem low, but it's the highest of any faith
- The last chart is particularly challenging. Retention rates for female Millennials+ are at 38% compared to their male counterparts at 57%. The young/old female is stunning and something that is impacting ALL religions.
