@offtheball @bankofireland Not to downplay Rassie's influence but I don't think the narrative coming out of the Boks was to influence the Ireland game. I think they were frustrated with 2 dodgy permanent reds. It is unfortunate for Ireland that they happened to be next and it seemed to impact 1 decision.

On another note, if you think the SFM card would have been a significant, you did not watch that game. Or the Springboks other games when they were down to 14. Sasha off doesn't fix the Irish scrum. It would have made a difference but probably not to the result. #IREvRSA

I can understand why Irish fans are upset by SFM not getting a card. I personally thought it was a yellow but i also think most of the other cards were fair. Rugby though needs to find a way to keep more players on the field. Cards have become a farce. #IREvRSA

@TightFive_Rugby I think if your argument is that you are hard down by when your opposition doesn't get cards, you are fighting the wrong battles. We should celebrate keeping players on the field (especially with the cards we did see). If u think you needed a man down to win...there's a problem.

Football is run by literally the worst people in the world. That doesn't mean I think the sport should not exist.

@cornwall_fraser I am a Stormers season ticket holder...I still love the Springboks more. So does the rest of the world barring France. It is why the international game is thriving but domestic leagues struggle. We are not unique, we are just the best right now and so we enjoy it.
