Can someone at @X take away @JustinTrudeau’s grey gov’t check mark please.
He is still wildin’ on here as if he is someone important.
Thank you for your attention to this matter @elonmusk.
Here is just one example of the Federal Government buyback program of so called assault “style” rifles. This is a Weatherby Mark V Safari Custom and is item 30130 on the federal list. The Federal government is wasting $7950 of taxpayer money to deprive a hunter from using this rifle. A large portion of the targeted guns are in fact hunting rifles used by Indigenous people and hunters. 🤔🇨🇦🆘🤡
@franco_nomics The money being wasted on this needs go towards stopping the illegal smuggling of firearms.. this won’t make Canada safe in the slightest
The gun ban and confiscation scheme is a huge taxpayer boondoggle that won’t improve safety.
Criminals aren’t going to give the government their illegal guns. This targets law-abiding Canadians.
Expect this boondoggle to cost BILLIONS.
Scrap it now!
The Star has confirmed the authenticity of the audio, which was with a tenant in Minister Anandasangaree's Toronto property. The minister initiated the conversation about the gun buyback himself, and it was being recorded because they were discussing issues at the home initially.
Criminals did not get your message. Our communities are experiencing a 45% increase in shootings and a 62% increase in gun-related homicides compared to this time last year. What difference does your handgun ban make when 85% of guns seized by our members can be sourced to the United States?
Your statement is out of touch and offensive to victims of crime and police officers everywhere. Whatever you think you’ve done to improve community safety, has not worked. @JustinTrudeau
