Post-debate polls show Brad Bradford catching up in the Toronto mayor race. People who watched last night's debate quickly realized that Brad was the clear choice to run the city - over the leader of Toronto's radical, far-left-Islamist coalition.
Toronto had a mayoral debate last night.
Olivia Chow wanted to seem taller, she's tiny. So she stood on a stool that made her look taller than Brad Bradford.
She also read every single answer as scripted by her staff.
Advance Polls open tomorrow, from October 6th to October 11th, 10am to 7pm.
This moment matters. We have a chance to elect a City Councillor that knows how to work across levels of government.
I'm ready to meet that moment.
@nadia_guerrera Responsible growth starts with government spending less while achieving more. That in turn means more private sector growth and more money in taxpayers pockets PLUS higher tax revenue!
One of the biggest complaints I hear in Ward 10 isn't about politics. It's the silence.
We can track a package across the country and follow a rideshare on a map. Residents deserve that same transparency from the people elected to represent them.
So here's my commitment. When you contact my office: an immediate acknowledgement, a tracking number, an update within 48 hours, and regular progress updates until it's resolved or you have a clear answer.
Representation starts with responsiveness.
Track It. See It. Solve It.
Advance voting Oct 6-11. Election day Oct 26.

@BradMBradford Such a tough choice this Toronto election. Brad Bradford or the leader of the radical far left-Islamist coalition whose primary goal is to decolonize Toronto by re-naming every street, square and station.
Canada calls on Iran to stop arming the Houthis. Canadians might want to ask not what will the Canadian government do about it (the answer is clearly nothing), but rather what could Canada do about it if the government really wanted to?
G7 foreign ministers on Monday called on Iran to stop arming and supporting Yemenโs Houthis and warned that the groupโs actions risk undermining international trade and fueling global instability.
โWe condemn in the strongest terms the unacceptable continued strikes carried out by the Houthis in Yemen and against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,โ the foreign ministers of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States said in a statement after meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
They also urged the Houthis to immediately halt military operations, threats and attacks on civilian shipping and return to the political process.

Proud to have the support of my friend @Yvan_Baker, MP for Etobicoke Centre.
Weโve worked together for years, united by a commitment to public service, education and human rights. Thank you, Yvan, for your friendship and confidence!
@DrewPavlou@Grok Is this video of President Xi walking up the steps to an airplane after the recent BRICS Summit authentic? How likely is it that his stiff left arm indicates that he had a stroke as some commentators suggest?
@l3v1at4an Canadian voters generally tilt quite far left though everyone believes they are centrists. There are very few true centrist voices in Canada. Essentially no one believes government is too big as a percentage of GDP and/or that government should do more with less.
Many people are rolling up their sleeves to build this campaign across Ward 4๐
Grateful for everyone talking to neighbours, sharing ideas & helping turn shared priorities into action.
Thatโs the coalition-building Iโll bring to City Hall.

@prestonstew_@Grok Compare Israeli Air Force lost and damaged aircraft figures to the US Air Force figures above. Speculate on the reasons for any appreciable differences.
A major watermain break at Coxwell and Gerrard has knocked out water service for residents for several days. This kind of interruption is dangerous and disruptive for residents.
My office worked with city staff to bring a water trailer on-site to support local residents.
