Second graders designed, built and decorated a new public space plan for their upcoming Permanent City. The plan has estuaries for flood control, pedestrian walkways, and other features students decided should play a crucial role in their new community.

Each year, Stevens students complete a self-portrait, often emulating an artistic movement they encountered in Art or Social Studies. This year, 7th graders are working in the style of Howard Finster, the 20th century outsider folk artist and preacher.

Fourth graders studying immigration visited Chinatown and the Museum of Chinese in America on Tuesday. They learned about the Chinese American diaspora and engaged with primary sources dating back to the early 1900s.
