@GovernorPerry This lie is all over the internet. The jury hung and the witness chose not to testify in retrial. So the prosecutor, not Paxton, offered a deal that put a conviction in his record. If the guy gets busted again that impacts bail and sentencing.
The alternative was 'get nothing'.
@Dan_Dillon_1 I wish the dungeons were a little better, but these d20 cards and "you find a secret door" cards with choices...this is the most unique stuff in Magic history and playing may be more fun than ever.
@RockyMPatriot @NinjaCatVanessa I try to hear people and give everyone the benefit of doubt. I respect peoples' backgrounds inform their beliefs and don't expect hegemony. But with respect, this is obtuse. Intentionally arguing a simple, agreeable point. Hope you reconsider.
@RockyMPatriot @NinjaCatVanessa No...that's a poor take. Paizo includes a segment on inclusiveness and respect at the gaming table. Not only is it the right position, it's rationally good. The gaming hobby deserves growth but was held back by a combination of poor press and internal toxicity.
@Svartalf6@Nonat1s This is an overreaction, though. Pathfinder tables play every day without some PC intervention. Enjoy the game your way but be mindful of the tastes of people next to you. That's as PC as it gets. Have fun!
@manifestantes12@Liz_Cheney@JoeBiden This is the dumbest most partisan response possible. Ms. Cheney made a respectful and unifying comment. She set an example of civil discourse. You vomited partisan hate in response. Plus you ascribe a lot of unearned virtue to a man who has been president 100 days.
@Kayjr@Public_Citizen@joncoopertweets It's a huge deal and a terrible idea. The design of DC was supposed to resist corruption and we've removed multiple obstacles to that.
@eric_lang With respect, this borders on virtue signaling. No one thinks Jesus was white. Never heard one person say that in 5 decades of rubbing shoulders with Christians across the world.
I wish people listened more and poked each other less.
@funder Great example of how people use loose facts to draw false conclusions. Folk who organized the rally were paid by Trump's campaign for many events over years. Not found in the article: evidence the named organizers had anything to do with the riot, or that it was planned at all.
