This is what powered a historic arms race whose costs crippled the world’s first socialist state, before dragging it into a vicious war and forcing its ultimate surrender.

This is what starved half a million Iraqi children in the 1990s before coming back to destroy their nation a decade later.

This is what crept towards Russia’s borders, looking to balkanize a nation it had already once plundered, in the process tearing apart peoples that once called themselves brothers and sisters.

This is the Global Party of War — firmly united behind an agenda of expansion, extraction, and extermination. Its existence distorts our societies and hinders our collective progress. And its time is running out.

Facebook and Twitter were in China but refused to comply with Chinese law in an egregious way: namely refusing to grant Chinese authorities with the IP address of local Chinese terrorists who organized massive attacks that killed hundreds of people in Xinjiang.
