I want to show you my favorite drill for avoiding the toe or heel strikes, and make really good ball-first contact.
If you can feel this angle on the back of you right wrist, once you get down about hip high, you want to feel like you fully release it, almost like you're striking a match against the turf that's going to help you keep that divot in front.

One of my favourite drills for those golfers who "CAST" the golf club &/or lose their wrist angles to early in their swing...
The "Underload/Overload" drill
Yes, It will feel weird at first, yes, you will hit some crappy shots, but video your swing to see the difference it makes
Then once you've worked on it a little bit, don't exaggerate it as much and you'll start to feel this work more naturally (in time)
Give it a go 👊
What other states property taxes compound like Michigans?
•California
•Oregon
•Florida (homestead)
•parts of New York
Among them, Michigan actually allows the fastest annual growth (up to 5%), which is higher than the caps used in those other states.
So you all can stop telling me Michigans property taxes is normal and just all other Midwest states. It’s the worst in the nation for how fast it can grow and is growing.
Place an alignment tith your chipping & often hit fats & thins, it could be because you are swinging the club too far around you
Place a club down directly behind the golf ball & place an alignment stick in the ground where the butt end of the club is and have it angled at the same or similar angle as your club sits at address
This will help you swing the club back on a more vertical plane and help move low point forward
Give this a go 👊
This is one of the reasons I think golfers struggle to improve on their own without a coach...
Most of you know about early extension, club across the line, steep downswings, face open, etc
But are you aware that poor setup can create poor body movements, which then create poor club movements, which can then influence impact?
Here's a student who's setup got too far away from where I'd like to see it
His balance points were way off. I like to see:
1. One club head of space between backside & heel line
2. Ankles in line with middle of hips
3. Armpits, tips of the knees & balls of the feet in one line
4. Pressure in the balls of the feet (not heels or toes)
This is an absolute must before we look at how we move or how we swing the club. Non negotiable
Be careful working on your swing for hours and hours if your setup is off, you'll be wasting a lot of time and building bad habits
I'm here all day, just DM me & I can help you 👊
