Big congrats to @VancouverPD's Inspector Rom Ranallo, awarded the prestigious #IALEFI 'Firearms Instructor of the Year'!
"Rom has been at the forefront of scientifically studying both how people learn and how to integrate that with the science of marksmanship, ballistics, decision making and putting all that together to make better officers". Well done Rom. #coach #mentor #teacher
We are disgusted by the Parole Board of Canada's decision to grant day parole to Pingoatuk Kolola, convicted of murdering Cst. Douglas Scott in 2007. This is a slap in the face to his family, colleagues, and every officer who risks their life to protect our communities. https://t.co/484CllMTTT

From Main and Hastings to the Arctic Circle, the #VPD and @OddSquadProd have spent a quarter century working together to prevent young people from entering the life of gangs, drugs, and addiction.
Sergeant David Steverding, and Constables Jesse Carson and Brendon Frick, travelled to the Northwest Territories this week, where they gave gang-and-drug awareness presentations in six different communities.
They connected with hundreds of people – from students to parents to medical professionals and government officials – to provide insight into the realities of gangs, drugs, and life in the Downtown Eastside.
Thank you to all our guests and supporters for making a special night for Odd Squad’s Seasonal Holiday Fundraiser! @ChiefPalmer @MayorofBurnaby present award for @dukeofedcanada.
Special thanks 🙏 to all the volunteers helping, @VPDJudo, & the Portuguese Culture Center in BC.
