@jdawgLGRW It is what it is. Yzerman has a little bit of leverage and does not need to make a trade that sucks. Plus if Larkin has been half in/half out the past couple years I think it’s inevitably good for the team
@BrianFisherLORW Dude like the more I’m thinking about this, the more I’m thinking this is probably not a smart decision by Larkin … reputation wise and all ...
@seiderlarkin You don’t request a trade as the captain of your team if you don’t want out that badly … this is something that takes a lot of thought and is likely tough for him. Can’t just show up and skate w your team like nothing happened after that
Feelings on this perfectly summarized by @DownGoesBrown.
I understand starting with a limited list to see if you can get your preferred destination, but if none of those teams fork over market value then Larkin should be ready to sit. #LGRW
@JeffVeillette Idk I think that’s a fair shift from a fan base after the player requests a trade what are you even spending your time and energy typing a post on this app and saying rn
@LarsThorsell I had the same thought about this. Get a center in return whereas Larkin is better, but also even out the trade by swapping goalies where Wallstedt has more certainty
