@dbrauer I e been in progress for them for a while, so can’t speak to the final solution but it has been a bit of a bumpy ride so far. Feel free to DM me for details.
@AndyRichter Several years ago we called some distant relatives in Norway on Christmas. My mom asked them how their lutefisk dinner was and they replied “we don’t eat lutefisk, we have refrigerators in Norway now.” Tradition is in the eye of the beholder.
@drdrang I agree 100% with your post. Not only do I have a Series 3, I also *just* got my first iPad a month or so back, a hand me down from my 97 year old father: an iPad 2. Battery life is fine and it runs older versions of apps (Instapaper, Kindle, Netflix) well enough. But no🍎TV+. 😢
@caseyliss I can 100% vouch for using an old Airport Express for your needs if you have one or can find one. I’ve got them all over my house and can send music to them - either individually or synced across the house. This Belkin device may do the same thing, but the AE is proven
@bleedsixcolors I’d put in hundreds of miles and dozens of hours with the previous version of the Overcast Watch app without a complaint. I get that watch development is tough, and targeting the future is a wise choice on Marco’s part, but unfortunately for me the result was a regression.
@bleedsixcolors I’m glad this version works for you, but as a non-cellular Series 3 owner this update actually forced me back to the Apple Podcasts app for standalone runs. It simply doesn’t work at all in my case, which is a shame. I’m sure it works much better on newer watches or via cellular.
@OneFootTsunami That reminds me of when they moved a theater in Minneapolis that sat empty across from Target Center and the First Avenue nightclub. Seemingly pre-internet enough that there is less evidence than I’d have thought. https://t.co/PA1vNpR6cr
@daringfireball In addition to the aforementioned Android phones, it is also not available on Android tablets (and Android-derived tablets like Amazon’s cheap and media-oriented Fire tablets).
@rcarmo Inspired by your post, I’m taking a look at an Ikea hack standing desk. Do you find the TV stand is stable enough given its depth? I worry it could tip.
Here is a similar option, twice as deep. Also note these brackets, which might work for you.
