@NARSnewsinfo Can someone please explain the logic of this statement as I must be missing something. There is actually less racing on Sunday than originally planned so more time off, not less??
@ThirskRaces An apology would have been appreciated, particularly for connections and also those at course who lost nearly 30% of their afternoon’s value.
@quevega@FakenhamRC I think you have missed the point - actually the “sensible people” would like to see the clerk of the course preparing it properly rather than over-watering again, just like same time last year.
@Rob5tephens @BHAStewards@FakenhamRC Me too. Last year he blamed the rain - absolutely no excuse this time. Couldn’t have better weather, shame about the over-watering by the clueless Clerk.
@poachersk@BHAStewards@FakenhamRC Nothing wrong with the course design - it’s the people running it that are the issue. Can’t water properly - exactly the same at first meeting last season.
@TBCFC2@BHAStewards@FakenhamRC@CWilliamsRacing A dangerous assumption given the ineptitude of the Clerk of the Course - he loves an overwatering. CW may learn this time though as he will have plenty of time to ponder it on the Friday afternoon journey home!
@lpennysthoughts@RacingTV It’s the course, not the horses. I am here today, just like I was last year at the same meeting when exactly the same thing happened. I am embarrassed to be a Fakenham member.
@MikeParcej@ListowelRaces Couldn’t agree more - we went Sun, Mon and Tues and loved it (although didn’t do so well on the betting). We love coming over to Irish racing - already booked accommodation for next year.
