There is nothing better for learning than a pleasant environment. Upon returning to their classrooms, our students were met with a great surprise: fully climate-controlled spaces! Distractions caused by the heat are a thing of the past; now, their focus on learning is at 100%. We are thankful for the donation of dear friends of Baxter that made this possible. Praise the Lord for this improvement in our teaching environment! 🎓✨

This past Sunday, Baxter Institute hosted a well-attended and beautiful time of fellowship with brothers and sisters from various congregations in Tegucigalpa, as well as from other countries in Central and North America 🌎.
At the end, one person made the decision to give their life to Christ through baptism 🙏💧.

A Tribute to Baxter board member Dr. Dean Sutphin on his retirement from VCOM School of Medicine.
Dean would be best described as a hands-on, active dean by many med students. He has stood side by side with them, assuring them, empowering our Baxter clinic doctors and staff, and providing needed medical items for the clinic’s functioning.
In his voice one notes his excitement for the work he unmistakably loves. Dean’s positive character and convictions meant that he was always wanting the very best for those he served. Whether working to bring a mobile clinic to Baxter, constantly lobbying for the clinic as a member of Baxter’s board, or aiding in the 2018 renovation of the clinic, he has illustrated the admirable goals of VCOM in Latin America.

Dr. Evertt Huffard joined us for a third seminar (2014, 2019, and 2025), sharing his wealth knowledge and wisdom. For two weeks, he will give daily lectures on spiritual leadership, present two lectures from his experiences in the Middle East, and preach in three congregations. 📚✨ Students and teachers from Baxter Institute traveled to the city of San Pedro Sula last weekend to hold the seminar-workshop “Purity in a Polluted World,” held at the meeting place of the Church of Christ in the Barandillas neighborhood. 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ The event brought together young people from various congregations, who enthusiastically participated in the teachings ✝️ and enjoyed recreational activities 🤝🎉 that strengthened their faith. 🙏💙 We express our sincere gratitude to the Church in Barandillas for its valuable collaboration with our institution for the benefit of young people.
