@GuillemBalague I agree mostly! But the excuse going into this game was everyone sits in a low block. Congo didn’t do that tonight and we still struggled for large parts of the game. But we massively underestimate most other nations.

@TheNonLeague72 Absolutely not! Anyone looking at this logically would agree. Maher had one full pre season, produced miracles before that. One full pre season and wins the cup, finishes in the playoffs (which is about where we should with the budget the club gave)

@Hoppo101 Depends how many players they buy again, if they trust what they have they will be very good next year. Our biggest threat for promotion is ourselves, on our day we can beat anyone.

@glentiesbhoy @JB_Allen I get that, but it’s a massive gamble. It makes far more business sense to continue pushing the club towards a self sustaining proposition. Gaining promotion would just be a bonus at this stage.
