NEW: Biological male AB Hernandez proudly stands in the first-place position on the podium after beating the female competition at the CIF Southern Sectionals.

Hernandez won the girls' triple jump with a 41' 4" jump, 4 feet more than Reese Hogan, who got 2nd place.

During an interview last week, Hernandez said he was going to win to give the "haters" something to talk about.

Congrats, Reese Hogan. In a normal world, you would have been crowned champion.
