lab employees. you have power only because you are useful. that won't last much longer. use that time wisely.

He waited so long for this very moment to see his Brewers win the World Series!

this is the funniest thing, if you actually read books you quickly realize the AIs of today are better discussion partners about classics than any human can possibly be. they have READ EVERYTHING. they put Harold Bloom to shame. all i have to say is that harvard freshman brains are scrambled so badly that they think Sparknotes-style is the only way of engaging with LLMs. yes llm lets you cheat if you want to and not read things, but they also offer people who like reading a depth of engagement about text that is 10x any collection of students/professors no matter how well read and intelligent. they can simulate the richest intellectual environments you can experience

We will learn something concrete from these midterms.I will happily stop thinking about politics either way it goes.

In 1976, the U.S. government funded one of the most psychedelic short films ever made.

It was filled with odd images and occult symbols.

Excited to share Genie 4 today our most realistic and interactive world model:

- steer dynamic environments in real time, shaping events, camera angles, and actions

- generate native audio matched to the world, from realistic background sounds to characters who can converse in real time!

- simulate photorealistic scenes and real-world physics

- create more coherent multi-step events through reasoning from Gemini

We've started to roll out as a research preview to trusted testers. Coming soon to Google AI Ultra subscribers in Project Genie and early access partners via the Gemini API and AI Studio.

One day, robots will live lives of their own. They'll run their own factories, build their own communities, work alongside us and take our civilization to places earth's biology can't yet go.

The interesting fact? They'll all run on synthetic neurons. Or to be more specific, our synthetic neurons.

But the coolest part is that we won't be the ones building those robots, or the sensors that feed their artificial brains in real time, or the embodied models that tell a robot how their unique shape, perfectly crafted, interacts with an unknown world and learns from experiencing it, just like animals do.

No, it won't be us. Our role is simple: to support and enable, one synthetic neuron at a time, the visionaries who want to create that future.

We'll provide the computational unit and building blocks for the contrarians, the nonconformists, the ones that already know that a robot plugged to a datacenter is a dead-end. Those who believe the solution isn't about scale; the ones with the hunch, the intuition that something is heading the wrong way.

We'll be here. We are here, for those who dare to jump into the future, to bet, explore and advance biomimetic intelligence.

Sci-Fi is always a beautiful dream, a great book or a cool high-budget movie, until someone brings it to life. And I'm sure this post will reach that someone, the one, the Dr. Tenma, and the architect of a positronic brain.

10 million synthetic neurons hitting the market soon. Beware: only for dreammakers, not for the faint of heart.
