I have always admired @Miss_Snuffy but this is on a whole other level. Just when you think, where on earth have all the leaders gone, someone comes along who you’d just love to parachute into Downing Street.
Thank you dear lady, it’s comforting to know the flame of civilisation hasn’t been completely extinguished.
@elonmusk You should pay attention.
Two thirds of these Labour MPs will lose their seats at the next election. As a polity, they represent some of the lowest-calibre elected representatives ever to befoul the Commons chamber. Few have had jobs outside charities, pressure groups or Westminster. We deserve better.
🔥 This LBC caller Daniel just brilliantly summed up Keir Starmer’s disastrous reign as Prime Minister:
“He was an authoritarian dictator who brought about a ruthless crackdown on free speech, who increased taxes on millions of working people despite promising not to, who allowed energy bills to rise despite promising to freeze them, and who let down millions of pensioners, farmers, students, teachers, almost everyone you could think of in this country. Nick… good riddance! He had to go.”
Well said, Daniel 👏
People feeling sorry for Starmer because he turned the waterworks on at the end? F*ck off. He doesn’t deserve an ounce of sympathy for everything he’s inflicted on this country. He never cared about ordinary people, so don’t fall for the crocodile tears now.
I and millions of Brits agree with Daniel: good f*cking riddance! 👋
He is leaving Manchester in £1.6 billion in debt.
He initiated the private sell off of Hitchingbrooke Hospital.
He oversaw the Mid Staffs scandal.
He voted for the Iraq War.
He has already proved himself to be thoroughly unfuckingfit.
Oh, and his 2 quid bus fare cap don't even cover all of the buses in Manchester - he even managed to cock up his only achievement as Mayor of Manchester.
Crass comment. What people are rightly concerned about is an attempt to make anonymous political dissent impossible. Once criticism of the government can be traced back to individuals and speech itself becomes grounds for prosecution, identifying and punishing opponents becomes straightforward.
Let's be clear, the proposals as they stand are about making every adult tell the Government what they look at online. It's not about children, they are just the cover for a much more sinister form of social authoritarianism. Social credit score next.
Black Mirror time
It’s important not to concede the idea that the state has a legitimate interest in regulating the internet to “protect children”
Protecting children is the job of their parents.
Happy to dose every pre-teen with puberty blockers but want to watch non state sanctioned broadcasting? Until socialism is treated as the mental illness it is humanity will be forever saddled with these fucking freaks.
Oh yes, I remember that Bond film where the villain decarbonized the auto industry, brought fast internet to everyone on the planet, and helped paralyzed people interact with the world again.
Gut wrenching to see four young people jailed for direct action against an arms supplier to Israel.
Years in prison for protesting to save lives in Gaza, with 'terrorism' used despite no jury convicting them of it.
A truly dangerous attack on the right to protest.
@BritainUnbound@julianHjessop Churchill nailed it back in the 1940s and general public tend to feel the same even today: “We are with Europe, but not of it. We are linked, but not comprised. We are interested and associated, but not absorbed."
So in the blink of an eye, an attempted beheading by a migrant has been turned into a clampdown on freedom of speech by the Labour government. Everything Starmer does is designed to enforce an agenda that no one voted for. As always with him, it’s smoke and mirrors deflection.
Another traitor to women…
Meanwhile trans activists force the EHRC Chair and her team to move offices by terrorising and vandalising them. These are the men these disgusting MP’s support. Well done @EmilyThornberry
