Just days ago, Ronald Karauri raised concerns about building safety in Eastleigh, warning that structures found to be unsafe should be subjected to fresh inspections and, where necessary, demolished before they collapse and claim lives.
Now, those concerns have taken on renewed urgency following reports of another building collapse in Eastleigh, Nairobi. A video circulating online appears to show a nine-storey building collapsing, with reports indicating that people may be trapped beneath the rubble.
Karauri had called for authorities to conduct a fresh round of structural safety inspections, arguing that buildings should be assessed individually to determine whether they can safely remain standing. He maintained that structures that pass the inspections should be allowed to stand, while those found to be dangerous should face appropriate intervention.
He also distinguished between zoning violations and structural safety, noting that buildings exceeding approved height limits may have altered Nairobi’s intended development plan, but that immediate action should focus on structures posing a direct threat to human life.
@Safaricom_Care is your home fibre real. What are your values with regards to service delivery. Why do I get 6mbps when I pay for 50mbps. Acc no is 0701 020166. This is not the first time I am complaining
@PeterNdegwa_ I would appreciate at least to be told if it is a matter that can be fixed so I hold on, or it is incorrigible so I can find another provider
Hi. I am finally writing to you because I am a frustrated customer for home fibre and non of my calls to customer care have come with any assistance. I am paying for 50mbs on 5G and fir the last three months I have reported my low speed

"Hon Edwin Sifuna should be in the presidential ballot 2027, its the only way to move our country forward," kibe mungai (Advocate of high court)
This is big endorsement to sifuna
@citizentvkenya It is probably true what that foul mouthed guy is saying about what UK and Riggy G think about Sifuna and Kalonzo, but I doubt there is any Kenyan who wants their choice to be made by either of those two gentlemen
I TOTALLY DISAGREE. William Ruto’s BIGGEST FEAR is the youth vote. The Kenyan youth is Ruto’s Achilles heel and this is where Edwin Sifuna postures. Ruto FEARS a UNITY of the YOUTH. The only person loved easily enough by Kenyans esp. youth to unseat William Ruto is Edwin Sifuna. Those other fellas will fail, and Ruto knows this.
SISI NI SIFUNA.
