@bethlinas @BenjaminLinas @statnews I’m not saying it doesn’t have a place. For me, it was great at first until I realized it deadened me emotionally, spiritually, not to mention all the other side effects of opiates. Ok, ok I’m done. I never comment on things, felt led to.

@bethlinas @BenjaminLinas @statnews Unfortunately that’s just not what has happened, or will happen. It’s just trading one for another, except buprenorphine is SO hard to stop, much more difficult than any opiate IMO. As long as it’s “under a Dr’s care” and you’re not robbing or killing?

Is that all that matters?As someone in recovery, who was on this medication for 14 years - what I took away from the experience is buprenorphine should be used in an initial treatment phase, a week or 2.
