ZeroZeroZero is the greatest crime miniseries ever made. It follows one enormous shipment of cocaine across multiple countries, showing the entire operation from three sides: the cartel producing it, the American brokers transporting it, and the Italian ’Ndrangheta buying it.
If I'm seeing this correctly, it looks like the lifeguard deliberately angles himself horizontally (along with the child) whenever the powerful waves are about to hit them. Is that a standard survival technique in this sort of situation?
What incredible courage and skill!
The World Cup Final averaged 66.4 million viewers in the U.S. on FOX and Telemundo combined.
42.5 million on FOX. 23.9 million on Telemundo.
Other than Super Bowls, this is the largest sports audience since the 1994 Winter Olympics.
So after all the pre-tournament criticism, angst, and fearmongering (much done with anticipatory glee), the 2026 World Cup was a historic success. Incredible games, record crowds/viewers, and a cultural phenomenon. People were safe, entertained, and joyous. Visitors discovered, and Americans were reminded, just how wonderful our country is, all through the lens of soccer. I’m so happy for, and proud of, my country. Best World Cup ever. Thank you, America. 🇺🇸
