Our community cafe is open every week day and we offer FREE breakfast, lunch and drinks and this is open to anyone!!
Today we were treated to home made curry, cooked by one of our lovely volunteers.

In our HARP lesson this week we had Chris Kendall, Community Lifestyle Coach from the Be Active, Be Healthy Team, who gave us a very informative session on diabetes.
Our Social Supermarket was very busy again today and we are very grateful to the staff from @CadentGasLtd for their support. They not only helped set the supermarket up, helped with deliveries and packing bags but they stayed all afternoon and helped our clients shop.
Volunteer Fair at Foleshill Community Centre was amazing! Lots of activities, food and even more people offering their time to amazing organisations. Thank you to Voluntary Action Coventry for organising an amazing event and letting us be apart of it, can't wait for the next one.
Tomorrow we will be at the Foleshill Community Centre Volunteer Fair along with other amazing Charities and Organisations looking for volunteers to carry on the the amazing work they are doing. Please come along to see how we can all help each other build better communities.
Today in our Skills for Life course, we learnt about British money and shopping. Tutors Nawal and Julie set up a 'shop' and students had to 'buy' the items. It was so much fun !
WOW! Huge congratulations to Barry for getting his CPCS and CSCS card!! Barry has worked very hard and has grown greatly in confidence: he has achieved the next steps in achieving his career goals- Well done!!

Last Friday we were treated to a beautiful Afghan rice meal (which was so tasty!) cooked by the amazing students on our Skills for Life course. They are cooking for us again today, we will post pictures of todays food later but for now here is last weeks meal.
