Words can't express the sorrow that the Sports Task Force is feeling upon the passing of our brother and friend, Roscoe Nance. Roscoe was a mentor to me and a legion of other young sportswriters. Rest In Paradise my dear friend. You will be missed, never forgotten.

As a Black journalist you can sometimes feel isolated & ignored. At #NABJ we are seen and reminded of the importance of our voice. I’m so grateful to close the books on my 10th convention 🙏🏾✌🏾#NABJ19
