We've trained a neural net called Whisper that approaches human-level robustness and accuracy on English speech recognition. It performs well even on diverse accents and technical language. Whisper is open source for all to use. https://t.co/ueVywYPEkK
Check out our Architecture Diagramming Tool, which includes 10+ prebuilt reference architectures for common use cases such as data science, #ML, websites, CI/CD, microservices, compute, and more ↓ https://t.co/pCKUpJNhHB
Thinking about how DevOps methodology can be applied to rollouts / releases in multiple timezones.
The greater the time difference the more you can either run or build with the same team.
GitHub now allows images for dark and light modes in Markdown. It uses the HTML picture element in combination with prefers-color-scheme.
A welcomed feature, i would say😊.

@Lingster888@Lingster888 thanks for the feedback 👍 that's a a good point and I'm not going to questions it's efficiency.
the reason is simple: my private setup doesn't make use of the prom push gateway at all and there's not much traffic so polling is not an issue resource-wise.
I built an Exporter for #Prometheus to monitor active SSH connections on my public cloud servers.
Can now trigger alarms 🔔 and notifications 📨 based on number of active user sessions 😎.

I've been working on moneytization for a few days now. Quite a big task 💪.
Need to ..
.. add new Pages to let users sign up and manage subs
.. add endpoints to receive webhooks from payment provider
.. enable certain features based on sub status
.. update privacy policy

@itamarst Yeah that's also what I have experiences and what I think works well. A small number of services per team without strict pizza team or microservice rules.
Do what works for you as a team, then you're most probably fine.
@itamarst In my experience these small pizza teams can't shut down existing microservices as fast as they have to build new ones to keep up with business demands.
So that's a nice goal to have a small time, but I think highly unpractical and unusual 🙂
Splitting an application into multiple modules will not only require a change to the application itself, but the way you work.
The new modules will become a new product of your team, with each having its own scope and backlog items.
In an agile environment this will also require the sign-off of your product owner.
This sign-off might be a hurdle but is also required to make the new product (the module) visible to stakeholders and customers.
If you’ve got an idea, start today. There’s no better time than now to get going. That doesn’t mean quit your job and jump into your idea 100% from day one, but there’s always small progress that can be made to start the movement.
Happy Thursday!

More work than I actually expected. And a nice challenge to get it right before users actually sign up.
Hope to get it done by end of next week. ✅
