Yesterday, representatives of the Royal Navy joined our Society for our Remembrance Sunday service at Lorraine Park Cemetery in Baltimore, site of three British War Graves.

On this day in 1805, the Royal Navy defeated a combined French and Spanish fleet off Cape Trafalgar. The naval battle was decisive yet costly. During the battle, Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, was fatally wounded on the quarterdeck of his flagship, HMS VICTORY.

The Society held our annual Trafalgar Night Dinner this past Thursday in Baltimore. Members and guests were treated to a lovely dinner with singing, toasts and brief reflection on Lord Nelson and the battle of Trafalgar.
