Reception are having lots of fun exploring boxes... so far they have been a canoe, a boat, an aeroplane and a rocket. I wonder what it will be next!

This morning we made sandwiches for our special Jubilee tea party. The children have loved having afternoon tea! 🇬🇧

This afternoon we have learnt about Coronation Chicken and Victoria Sponge. We even got to try them too. A big thank you to Mrs Heaton for making them for us. It was a big thumbs up from Reception!

We have a building site in our class today! The children have even made safety signs which say ‘Do not enter!’

The children have been trying to become taller than Miss Crook and Mrs Rypel... I have to say they have come up with some interesting ways to add to their height!

Yesterday we had a hot chocolate treat and boiled our own water using the Kelly Kettle. We learnt how to stay safe near fire and the children were amazing!

@CostaCoffee We’ve had lots of fun exploring our icy outdoor area and afterwards we decided to create our own Costa drinks!👍😊

Oh no the dinosaurs have been frozen in the water but it’s ok Reception are finding different ways to free them!
