@followourmoney Nationalism is not something I will countenance. It is a distastefjl concept.
But why not do as you suggest AND disassemble the dysfunctional UK system?
Instead of worrying about nationalism, why not ask “what is the Westminster parliament for?”

Can anyone explain why Scottish independence is not compatible with being part of a cultural, customs, currency and security union with the other nations in former UK? All the benefits, no division. Just like all the small EU nations!

@followourmoney @alastairmci Elephant in the room is Forestry & Land Scotland who point blank refuse to sell land to locals, or even co-operate to help local enterprises. Lets worry about the 1.2 million acres they own and how management of that is democratised

@followourmoney The point is we have to start somewhere. So lets start with getting rid of one layer (Westminster) and then we stand a better chance of dealing with what remains! Accepting of course that we can retain the cultural and trade benefits of the current union.

@BlackIslePMD 5 is the key for me. Build a fairer, greener society. Self-governance is a better idea than independence. You can be part of ‘new Uk’, EU, UN, etc without giving up sovereignty. So, 2 & 3 also important!

Why have Royal Mail postal workers recieved no briefing, PPE or tool-box talks on keeping safe from COVID19. This is shocking for a front-line service. Please advise @DrShaunPDavis
