Molestation of Hindu girls

Bareilly: a 15-year-old Hindu student was returning home from coaching classes in Jun 2025.
Mohammad Musabbir approached her on a motorcycle. He rode up to her, turned back, and made obscene remarks.

When the girl objected, he assaulted her and fled the scene while threatening to kill her.
The girl’s father complained to the police.

The entire incident of molestation was captured on CCTV. Cameras from the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) were utilized to identify the accused and trace his movements, eventually leading to the discovery of his location.

The police surrounded the accused, who attempted to flee and fired at the police team using a country-made pistol.
In the ensuing retaliatory fire, Mohammad Musabbir was shot in the right leg and taken into custody.
