@twinkpummeler Honestly this is a good thing. It is much better to search for a new therapist that is actually right for you than keep one who won’t acknowledge their own limitations.
im lowk rly bad with interacting with my moots but js know when im liking ur tweets im liking with kindness and love and deep interest in whatever your talking about
@zuzeyan Real! I think my first one was trying to use a tactic to get me to talk more but it did the opposite, the yapper therapist I went to after her brought me out of my shell 10x more bc it was real connection and conversation not just looking at me and nodding 😭😭😭
Someone in my counselling psychology masters program said they’re just going to embrace the fact that they will hurt someone instead of taking extra steps to be a more competent psychotherapist after graduating
@lesbianlifts I don’t know you but I view you with a lot of admiration. I’m femme but your content being so openly yourself helps me feel seen as a lesbian :)
@zombiefawnz But yeah meeting someone so open about lesbianism helped me connect the pieces of myself screaming to be noticed in the back of my mind all those years. She sucked but I’ll always appreciate her unknowingly helping me to find myself by just being her honest self.
@zombiefawnz I met a lesbian who openly told me about her experiences of comphet which felt very similar to mine. Helped me realize that I wasn’t bi, I was just brainwashed and I don’t actually want to live my life with a man at all. I also felt wrong dating men and dreamt ab cheating w women
@zuzeyan Yeah my first therapist sat and nodded at me for half an hour out of every hour long session it was so uncomfortable I had to switch but then I found an excellent practitioner
