@NuCaloric actually I kinda lied I was pretty hyped when arrivals came out, I think it was more beyond light that killed it for me with the bullshit marketing about it being a pyramid-focused expansion which it was not

@NuCaloric Same, the mystery that made destiny interesting to begin with was there. Once shadowkeep came out and it became pretty clear that the pyramids were a lot less interesting than I had expected I was way less invested in the story, but the fate saga hooked me again
