but i keep seeing genuinely good teams get overlooked while copycats get the spotlight. maybe some of them are just better connected, but that’s only my guess

i saw the same thing around @farcaster_xyz: new teams would ship something, then a clone would appear and get backed

@openlaunch_lol feels like another example. @baseposting is shilling a project with a site that looks like a near 1:1 copy

i love base and have spent a lot of time here, which is why this keeps bothering me. if builders come first, support should be more transparent and give original teams a fair shot
