I think everyone saying this scene got hated because “no media literacy” misses the point
It wasnt hated bc its hard to understand, it was obvious subaru would eventually break and had entitlement issues constantly seeking rewards, it’s hated bc it critiques the target audience-
The worst thing about AI is that I can’t get customer service for anything anymore, the only way to reach out to a human for help involves breaking the AI chatbot first like it’s some troll at a bridge you gotta bypass
????? KEEP THE GAME ALIVE.
TWO CHAMPIONS A YEAR WILL BE PERFECTLY FINE. PLEASE, RIOT, DON’T KILL THE GAME. LET 2XKO HAVE A SMALL TEAM DEDICATED TO THIS
If that dumbass CEO that killed this game knew what he is doing, he would keep the support for this game up even on negative so they can have a modicum of good will from the gaming community for when they decide to release that MMO
These mfs have zero credibility
Terrible advice. When I was about 18 this exact mentality pushed me to burn out so bad I genuinely was planning on injuring myself to get out of doing homework. Its a miracle I didnt get baker acted and got an extra month to do my shit instead. Needless to say, im on vyvanse now.
Killing me how sett was clearly held back from being revealed with the other characters as a big surprise thing, but now it feels like twisting the knife
"hey we finally added *one* of the characters you were begging for" right before the game drops all support forever.
twitter advice is always just "shame yourself into getting it done" when ive accomplished the most out of life accepting I have ADHD and being gentle with myself/okay with fucking up. when you push too hard you WILL crash. thats just how our brains work and thats fine
honestly i can't tell if this is a bigger self-own for WWE palling around with a guy who had a song of the summer written about how he's a creep or for Drake for the residual rep damage of the Kendrick beef knocking him into WWE's price range
RIGHT NOW: Zohran Mamdani stands on the Israeli side of an October 7 vigil while Palestinian organizers and supporters of Palestinian liberation directly protest him.
Another politician at the vigil is Brad Lander, who increased NYC pension holdings in Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, as their weapons were used to annihilate Palestinians at the height of the Gaza genocide.
Meanwhile, students across NYC are walking out of classrooms demanding an end to the city’s complicity in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians.
Mamdani campaigned on solidarity with Palestine. Now the movement is confronting him over the gap between that solidarity and his political decisions. This is not a hypothetical contradiction or a disagreement over rhetoric. It is a confrontation over where political power is being exercised, whose demands are being accommodated, and whose are being dismissed.
Solidarity is measured by what you do with power, not what you say to obtain it.

In my history class today, I brought up the fact that I'm trans during class. Immediately, multiple people giggled and laughed at me. One person that I hardly know left the room, furious that people were making fun of me.
After school got out, they handed me this note.
