@eeuoss I've heard this narrative before. Strongly disagree. Not all code is easily testable. Some bugs, whether they are found in tests or not, require deep debugging in DBG. Plus, you should verify your code as you write it by seeing it run in the debugger.

DA shipped a little while ago, unfortunately EA did not really do much to showcase the hair in DA, hosting just a short video with darkly lit cinematic sequences featuring characters with dark hair.

When I was still at EA/Frostbite, we developed strand based hair and first shipped it in FIFA 21 for ps5/xbsx. But we were also looking forward to the next Dragon Age (back then in early development) using it, as they had more creative freedom than FIFA in designing hair sets.

@tillederdon Yes there is definitely an "Unreal signature palette". Much less so now though than during the ps3/xb360 launch period where Unreal games had a very signature look.

China definitely building its clean energy capabilities, but at the same time also significantly increasing its production of coal based energy to fuel its insane growth of the last two decades.

China (8M GWh), United States (4M GWh) and India (2M GWh) by far the world's biggest energy consumers, and none of them have decreased their fossil fuel energy consumption since the 2000's, on the contrary it has significantly increased for China and India.
