Trade-off: Cowork stores conversation history locally, so clearing the cache wiped my recent Cowork history. Regular Claude chat history was fine.

Anyone else have the @claudeai desktop app freezing this morning on MacOS Tahoe (26.3.1)? App immediately shows the spinning wheel on launch - I was in Cowork. Tried force quitting and full restart — no luck. @AnthropicAI @bcherny

@andyjolls @claudeai @AnthropicAI @bcherny ⚠️ Do NOT delete local-agent-mode-sessions/skills-plugin — that's where your custom skills live. Only remove old UUID-named session folders.
If still dead after all that, check Activity Monitor. It had silently crashed. Fixed by launching fresh from the Applications folder.

Quit Claude fully → go to ~/Library/Caches/ → delete everything inside com.anthropic.claudefordesktop (leave the ShipIt folder alone)
If still hung, go to ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/ → delete Cache, Code Cache, and vm_bundles folders. 🧵

@FlyAirNZ I paid extra for a skybed. AirNZ changed flights and canceled for economy. They didn’t allow online changes. Required two calls over 45 min on hold. When I finally connected, the person misled me and said we had been moved to bulkhead seats. Now $100 fee to correct.
